The Bamasaaba National Students’ Association (BANSA) is the apex student umbrella body recognized by Inzu Ya Masaaba. BANASA unites, coordinates, and mobilizes all Bamasaaba students across higher institutions of learning both within Uganda and globally.
By bridging the gap between the cultural institution’s leadership and the intellectual youth, BANASA empowers the next generation of leaders, professionals, and cultural custodians of Masaabaland.
🏛️ Governance & Structure
BANASA operates as a centralized national executive council that works hand-in-hand with the Inzu Ya Masaaba Ministry of Education and Youth. It oversees the operations, leadership transitions, and collaborative efforts of all individual university chapters, including:
- Makerere University Bamasaba Students’ Association (MUSA)
- Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Chapter
- Kyambogo University Bamasaba Students’ Association
- Kampala International University (KIU) Chapter
- Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Chapter
